Its alright, meat slips through the slide when at a certain thickness before slicing. Dont put too much pressure on the walll either or else it will bend and you'll end up with uneven slices

You'll need to let anything you want to slice cool down significantly or start semi frozen.

Overall if you have patience and know what you are doing its a great tool to have until you can buy a fancier one.
